Welcome to my easy slow cooked homemade turkey stuffing recipe.
I have to admit that until I created this homemade turkey stuffing recipe I had never ever made my own stuffing. It was a case (like many other people) that I was way too lazy and it was just easier to turn to the packet stuff and not actually make it myself.
It was just easy. When you think that for packet stuffing that you just add water and a little bit of butter, mix it well and then you have stuffing ready to eat, you can see why I took the easy way out. Though I am sure I am not alone and that millions of people will be turning for the packet stuff this Thanksgiving and Christmas.
But it tasted absolutely horrible. Not a little bit horrible but a lot horrible.
Also with it only ever coming out at Christmas and me being the only one eating it, then what was the point in making it from scratch. Plus at Christmas time there is always so much to make that do we really have the time to make stuffing as well!
I asked Dominic recently why he didn’t like it and I got a lecture about how disgusting it was and how it always had sage in it which he was allergic to. Plus he would rather have more roast potatoes and turkey instead!
So this time I mentioned that I would make a delicious homemade one for him this year which would be 100% homemade and would taste delicious and be sage free.
Well now I have made that statement my stuffing better be good…..I will let you judge on that one!Easy #SlowCooked #Homemade #Turkey #Stuffing via recipe_thisClick To Tweet

Any Sharp Knife Sharpener
For today we are showcasing the red knife sharpener from Any Sharp. It is a lovely vibrant colour and with us talking about one of the most important recipes of Christmas, then it was only right that we matched it with the red knife sharpener that shouts out Christmas to anyone that is viewing them.
The month of November is national stuffing month which for me says “autumn” and tells us that we don’t need to rely just on Thanksgiving or Christmas to enjoy a traditional Sunday roast.
That brings me to the most important time of the year to have a knife sharpener, especially an Amazon best seller like this one. We do a huge variety of different dishes, we have lots of dicing and slicing to do and without sharp knives then there is going to be a lot of visits to Casualty!
If you just spent 3 minutes a month sharpening your knives you can bring them back to the vibrant look they once have. Or what about getting some of these amazing knife sharpeners in the different colours as a special gift for family and friends at Christmas?
In terms of getting yourself one of these brilliant red knife sharpeners (or exploring the rest of their range) you can explore more by clicking here. If I were to do it again and/or if I were to currently recommend a good quality knife sharpener to you, I would say CHOOSE THIS ONE.
