Greggs Festive Bake
Christmas 2021 was our first Christmas back in the UK and we loved all the festive treats we could get. Such as gingerbread flavoured frappe from Starbucks and the festive bake from Greggs.
Where we live Greggs and Starbucks are only a few doors away from one another, so we can enjoy both treats at the same time. Then with some Christmas music playing too it makes it feel like that amazing time of the year.
But of course, the Greggs Festive Bake was in their pastry and seriously not good for the waistline so after bingeing on them last Christmas I decided this year we would make our own.
We could use Christmas leftovers to make it happen and then load them into our pasty maker, like we have done with our other pasty recipes and then air fry the festive bakes.
In fact, these festive bakes were so good, that we could imagine doing them with other leftovers too and of course, its a great way to use up leftovers.

Can You Cook Pies & Pasties In An Air Fryer?
YES, YES, YES, you can cook pies and pasties in the air fryer and they are delicious.
Firstly, with pies you can cook a frozen pot pie in the air fryer, or you can make a leftover turkey pie. Then let’s not forget about our homemade air fryer meat pies which are so good, that I always want seconds.
Then pasties are even better. You can make air fryer Cornish pasties, air fryer cheese and onion pasties, air fryer corned beef pasties and the list goes on and on.
Plus, you can also make diet friendly pasties too like we are showing you today that are similar to our slimming world pasties.
What Is A Greggs Christmas Pasty?
A Greggs Christmas pasty or a festive bake is just how it sounds. Instead of your usual cheese pasty or Cornish pasty filling, its replaced with your favourite Christmas dinner ingredients instead.
What’s In A Greggs Festive Bake?
There are 4 main ingredients in a Greggs festive bake all of which you will associate with a Christmas turkey dinner.
A Greggs Festive Bake includes:
- Turkey
- Stuffing
- Pigs In Blankets
- Cranberry Sauce
Greggs Festive Bake Ingredients
Leftovers – We have a mix of leftover turkey, pigs in blankets, stuffing, and cranberry sauce for filling our festive bake with.
Wraps – I highly recommend using some Weight Watchers Wraps. They are the easiest for cooking in the air fryer and are the perfect size for homemade pasties.
Egg Wash – This is optional, but if you would like a golden glow on your festive bakes then a little brush with egg wash can make a huge difference.
Then for the kitchen gadgets that we have used in this air fried cookie dough recipe it has just been our Philips Air Fryer. We have this one and its wonderful for many types of air fryer recipes.
Plus, we recommend you head over to our air fryer recipes category as we have more than 500 tried and tested air fryer recipes and have been air frying for 10 years.
