Can You Cook Chicken Bakes In An Air Fryer?
Yes, you sure can. Chicken bakes in an air fryer are delicious. Simply add some egg wash, load them into the air fryer and you have perfectly golden chicken bakes.
The air fryer is fantastic with any frozen or fresh pasty and one of my favourite foods to air fry.
Can You Reheat Greggs Chicken Bake?
You sure can and I have done it more times than I can remember. You can simply load your leftover Greggs chicken bake into the air fryer and it will perfectly reheat your pasty for you.
Though note, even though I have a microwave, it doesn’t do a good job of reheating chicken bakes. This is because they go soggy and taste greasy.
Yet the air fryer will reheat your Greggs chicken bake so that it feels brand new again.

Can You Eat Greggs Chicken Bake The Next Day?
Yes, you can. It is completely safe to eat a Greggs chicken bake the next day. Though if you are doing this, I recommend that you only leave it one day before consuming.
Also make sure if you are leaving your Greggs until the next day that it is thoroughly reheated.
Frozen Chicken Bake Air Fryer
I also appreciate that, if you are outside of the UK, you probably cannot source delicious Gregg’s pasties to air fry.
Instead, you will have your own favourite brand of frozen chicken bake that you might want to air fry.
If that is you, then use any frozen chicken bake and just make sure it’s a similar size to ours otherwise the cook time will differ.

Greggs Chicken Bake Ingredients
Frozen – You will need your Greggs frozen chicken bakes from Iceland that you will want to cook in the air fryer. You can do two at a time in an average size air fryer, but if you want you can do them in batches.
Eggs – You will need eggs for the egg wash. I usually add a large egg to a ramekin and mix it with a fork with a splash of milk. Or you can make it more flavoursome by adding some seasoning to the eggs such as salt, pepper, and tarragon.
Sauce – Are you the one that likes something to dunk their pasties into? I am. I love mayonnaise or ketchup the most. Just grab whatever you prefer or go without.

How To Cook Chicken Bake In Air Fryer?
- Load. Remove your frozen chicken bake from its packaging and add it to the air fryer basket.
- Brush. Next brush the chicken bakes with egg wash to ensure a golden glow.
- Cook. Air fry your Greggs chicken bakes for 14 minutes until golden and piping hot in the centre.
And I am sure you can see now how easy it is to air fry chicken bakes and why it has become one of my favourite frozen foods.
How Long To Cook Greggs Chicken Bakes?
Greggs chicken bake cooking time is JUST 14 minutes. And we follow a dual temperature.
This means that we start the air fryer at 160c/320f to defrost and cook in the middle and then increase the temperature up to 200c/400f for the golden pasty crust.
How To Reheat Greggs Chicken Bake?
If you are reheating Greggs chicken bake then the cook time is a lot less. This is because the frozen Greggs pasties are uncooked. For a reheat of a Greggs chicken bake I recommend 4 minutes at 160c/320f. Then check if it’s piping hot before serving.

Instructions
- Remove the frozen chicken bakes from the packaging and place into the air fryer basket.
- Brush with egg wash or use extra virgin olive oil spray.
- Air fry for 6 minutes at 160c/320f, then egg wash or spray again and then cook for a final 8 minutes at 200c/400f.

We all love Greggs baked products and i only saw these by chance and grabbed some. Happy i found this recipe and instructions to help me cook these in an air fryer and they cooked so quickly and came out crispy and so good, never going to do these in a cooker from now on.
I couldn’t find any Greggs but used some Kirkland chicken bakes and they turned out fantastically well. So quick to cook and no fuss or mess just how i like to cook things.
