Greggs Vegan Sausage Roll
This week on Recipe This, we are celebrating great Greggs frozen food that you can cook in the air fryer that we have bought from our local Iceland.
We have already done Greggs chicken bakes and our Greggs Magic Bag and today is the turn of another of Greggs best, and that is Greggs vegan sausage rolls.
But before I dive and tell you more about vegan sausage rolls in the air fryer, I have a few behind the scenes things to share with you.
Firstly, our Greggs vegan sausage rolls were done 10 minutes after we made Greggs sausage rolls. It then gave us the chance to taste test the meat vs the vegan versions straight after one another.
What we found, is that regular Greggs sausage rolls that you have cooked from frozen in the air fryer are incredibly greasy compared the vegan alternative.
Secondly, I am a HUGE quorn fan and forget that many people use it because they are vegan and people enjoy the Greggs vegan rolls because they are vegetarian.
I am telling you this because if you are not vegan, I much prefer egg wash over these vegan rolls. If you are vegan I recommend extra virgin olive oil spray.

Greggs Vegan Sausage Roll Ingredients
Frozen – You will need your Iceland Greggs vegan sausage rolls that you will want to cook in the air fryer. You can usually fit four vegan sausage rolls in at once, depending on the size of your air fryer. They also don’t need to be thawed before cooking.
Wash – You will need either extra virgin olive oil spray or egg wash to coat the frozen pastry with for that golden glow. You can mix and match with whatever you prefer to use. If you are vegetarian and not vegan I would suggest the egg wash.
