Air Fryer Pork Steak
Can we talk date nights for a moment? Because for me air fryer pork steak shouts out date night.
I love romantic date nights for the two of us because we can save money and eat a special meal when the kids are in bed.
We are the kind of parents that likes to look after our own children. We don’t have a nanny and like to be with our kids all the time.
Well unless they are grumpy that is!
We are always surprised by how many of our fellow food bloggers have their kids with nanny’s. I chose to work from home with the sole purpose of being able to be with them.
The last time Kyle (who will be 19 this summer) was babysat by a non-family member was our wedding night. That was a complete disaster and has put us off.
Between the ages of 3 and 10 he was only ever babysat by my parents once a year and that has been it.
And Sofia & Jorge has never been babysat at all.
Well unless you count the odd time when Sofia would rather stay with Kyle and watch TV than come grocery shopping with us.
Jorge though is too much of a mummy’s and daddy’s boy and won’t stay with his big bro!
We work from home so it means that we can organise our time well. Before Sofia came along in 2014 our date night was always a date lunch.
We would go out for lunch together (at least once a fortnight) when Kyle had a long day at school. It was usually a Tuesday because he didn’t finish school until just before six.
We could then go out for lunch and we would follow this up with a trip to the cinema and have a ball.
But now we have Sofia & Jorge (who are well worth missing the cinema for) we have date evenings.
When our kids are in bed, we will have a lovely supper just the two of us and just enjoy each others company.
We will then snuggle in front of the TV for a great movie or one of the TV shows we are currently binge watching on Netflix.
If you are looking for that cheap dinner that you can enjoy for two, then this is it and it can all be cooked in the air fryer.
Can You Air Fry Pork Steak?
Absolutely! Not only can you air fry pork steak, but you can also make delicious side dishes to go with your pork steak at the same time.
The air fryer has a grill pan or a basket and either does a fantastic job of cooking pork steak so good that you would think it had been cooked on a barbecue.
Air Fryer Pork Steak Types
Air Fryer Pork Loin Steaks – I also like to eat air fryer pork loin steaks in the air fryer. Though when I think of them, I always name them air fryer boneless pork chops. But whatever you call them, they are easy and cheap to cook in the air fryer.
Air Fryer Pork Shoulder Steak – I like pork shoulder steak as an in between cut of pork steak for the air fryer. Not as good as pork loin, but better than a regular pork chop. Or for a cheaper version of pork shoulder steak try air fryer pork shoulder blade steak.
Air Fryer Pork Chop Steaks – Also known as air fryer pork chops, they are easy to cook in the air fryer. I find that my Butchers always has a deal on pork chops, and they are perfect for work night dinners in the air fryer.
Air Fryer BBQ Pork Steak – I like the BBQ pork steak that you can purchase from the butchers. Where the pork steak is already marinated and loaded with seasonings and you just cook and serve.
Air Fryer Bifanas – These are thin steaks, or you might call them like thick bacon slices. They are popular in Portugal and are usually served in warm sandwiches with mayonnaise.
What Ingredients & Gadgets Go Into Air Fryer Pork Steak?

The ingredients that go into air fryer pork steak depend on how you want to cook your pork steak. Dominic who worked as a chef, will warn me about spoiling meat with extra seasoning.
A universal chef opinion is that salt and pepper is all that is needed on pork steak otherwise you lose the flavour of the steak.
But you can of course smoother your pork steak in your favourite flavours. Such as barbecue marinade or thyme for a Mediterranean flavour.
I also like to use a good air fryer. We have the Philips Air Fryer XL, Philips Air Fryer XXL and the Power Air Fryer Oven.
We have used those three at different times for air fryer pork steak and all 3 was amazing. The bigger the air fryer the better as it can hold more steak!
An air fryer grill attachment also works well because then you can have a more barbecue look and flavour.
How Long To Air Fry Pork Steak?
It doesn’t take long to air fry pork steak. In fact, air fryer pork steak takes JUST 8 minutes for thin pork steak and 15 minutes for thick pork steak.
For clarification thin air fryer pork steak would be like our pork bifanas that I mentioned above and would be approximately ¼ inch thick.
In comparison to our thick air fryer pork steaks which are the typical size of ½ inch thick.
Power Air Fryer Oven Pork Steak
The beauty of the Power Air Fryer Oven is that when you use it for air fryer oven pork steak it can hold a lot more steak.
You also have plenty of space for sides and maybe even a dessert.
I don’t have a favourite air fryer for pork steak as they have all done an equal great job.

Air Fryer Breaded Pork Steak
When I think of air fryer breaded pork steak, I think of my delicious air fryer breaded pork chops.
They are delicious and one of our favourite air fryer recipes in the Milner house. If you are looking for a breaded pork steak, we recommend you follow our air fryer breaded pork chops recipe instead.

This is a pork steak, this is not a pork chop Google when i search for pork steak i want these, these were fantastic thanks just what i was looking for 🙂
Lovely pork steaks. Prefer these to red meat as long as they are not fatty, these timings were perfect 🙂
I was looking for a pork steak recipe, but mine are bone in and an inch thick. I change the cooking time to ten minutes then flip over for another five minutes.
I agree with what said above, its great that you have a recipe for steaks. I waited so long to look this up (a few years) because I assumed the steaks would dry, like sausages do.
