Air Fryer Croissants
Ever since we arrived back in England, (itโs been 9 months as I write this) I have been enjoying all the food that I missed.
Frozen food is a lot more limited in Portugal compared to in England and the USA and I keep finding yet another frozen food gem that I want to try out in the air fryer.
I had one of those moments recently, when I headed down to Iceland and saw their new, all butter frozen croissants.
I just had to have them and try them out at home in the air fryer and share them with you.

Air Fryer Croissant Ingredients

Pastries โ I recommend you cook up to 5 frozen croissants in the air fryer at once. Simply because, unless you have an air fryer oven, youโre unlikely to be able to fit more in than this at once. Annoyingly our pack of frozen croissants was 6 yet we could only air fry 5. So, batch if you need to.
Eggs โ I recommend for most air fryer frozen pastries that you use egg wash. But because these are all butter croissants you really donโt need it.
Fillings โ Then of course, donโt forget about all your favourite croissant fillings. I am a gouda cheese and sliced ham kind of girl!
Then for the kitchen gadgets that we have used in this croissant in air fryer recipe it has just been our Philips air fryer. We have this one and its wonderful for many types of air fryer recipes.
Plus, we recommend you head over to our air fryer recipes category as we have more than 500 tried and tested air fryer recipes and have been air frying for 10 years.

Have to say they are lovely and brown, but the middle. The middle feels to me to be under cooked. Wonder if you came across this. Would love some feed back and thoughts on this. Maybe left to cool??
Hi Michael,
You could leave them in the air fryer for a further 5 mins to cool, but this all depends on what air fryer you are using and how it cooks the frozen croissants, you could add 2 more minutes on a lower temp and that will help ๐
Talk about delicious. I love a warm croissant and wondered if it would work in my air fryer, so came across your recipe on Facebook and tried to do it. I was so surprised how good they tasted many thanks.
