Reheat Fried Fish
Behind the scenes of running a food blog means that there can be a LOT of leftovers. We will do a batch of recipe testing and then I will see it piling up and piling up in the fridge.
I remember when we were last recording videos for our You Tube channel having a kitchen worktop that was just full of food we had made, but there was way too much for us to possibly eat.
What I love about this is that we will often have enough leftover food in the fridge to last us for several days. Then when we are hungry we can reheat the food in the air fryer.
I remember when we made our air fryer frozen fish and chips, we had loads of the fish fillets left over.
I thought rather than just eat them, that we could share with you the process of how to reheat fried fish in the air fryer. Then when you have some fried fish leftovers, you know that you can load it into the air fryer and follow this method.

Yes you can. But consider that compared to meat, fish has a short cook time such as our air fryer tuna steak or our air fryer shrimp fajitas. Therefore, you need to be rather delicate when reheating fish and make sure you don’t carry on cooking.
Can You Reheat Fish In Air Fryer?
Yes you can and whenever I am reheating fish I recommend that you do so in the air fryer. That is because it stops you overcooking your fish and also helps you get a crispy coating again on your fish.
As there is nothing worse than breaded or battered fish with a soggy coating.
Best Way To Reheat Fish?
The best way to reheat fish is by allowing it to fully cool first. I recommend after the fish has been cooked that you put your reheat plan of action into place.
Allow it to cool in the fridge and then place it in an airtight container.
Then the next day (don’t leave it longer than this) place it in the air fryer basket, spray it with extra virgin olive oil and then air fry it.
For the best results avoid a preheat as it will cook it too fast.
