Frozen Salmon Air Fryer
As I write this, I have just had delivery of my frozen food from Iceland. I am loving living back in England and having access to all the amazing frozen food.
But what excites me most in Iceland, isn’t the frozen chicken wings, it is fruit and vegetables.
I love their frozen fruit into smoothies such as my soup maker green smoothie, or their bananas in ice cream maker nice cream.
Their frozen vegetables are even better, and its their frozen broccoli you see in our air fryer frozen broccoli or instant pot frozen broccoli and their cauliflower is also used in a similar way.
But there is one frozen vegetable that comes above all of those, that I had six bags delivered to my front door this morning and that was their frozen trimmed green beans.
I love them most because they are the fastest cooking frozen vegetable that I have ever air fried.
You can season your frozen green beans in the air fryer and they are like crispy heaven and cook at the same time in the same air fryer basket as frozen salmon.
You then have a fantastic lunch of frozen salmon and green beans for lunch.
Its nice and healthy, its light and perfect for you to then get back to work and not feel like you are in a carb coma.
Today I wanted to show you how you too can cook frozen salmon in air fryer alongside green beans and why it will become your new favourite go to healthy air fryer frozen meal.

Can You Air Fry Salmon With Skin?
Yes, you sure can and we have done this a lot when we have bought our air fryer salmon frozen from Aldi.
They sell delicious packs of 2 salmon fillets with their skin in the fresh fish section. I will then save them in the freezer for when I want to cook them and then cook the salmon from frozen.
Then we will peel the skin off the salmon just before serving.
Do You Have To Flip Salmon In Air Fryer?
Yes, it is recommended that you flip your salmon in the air fryer, halfway through the cook time.
This gives the perfect texture all over your salmon and makes it taste like grilled salmon.
Plus, if you are cooking vegetables at the same time, then it’s a good opportunity to check on them and turn them if they need turning too.

Air Fryer Frozen Salmon Ingredients
Salmon – You can use any frozen salmon. Though note, if it is marinated, you will need to place it in a container in your air fryer, otherwise you will have sauce going everywhere!
Veggies – This is optional of course, but its great to combine green beans and salmon at the same time. You then have a meal, rather than having to figure out what you are going to serve with your salmon fillets.
Spray – I also recommend a spray bottle filled with extra virgin olive oil. Don’t use frylight or pam because it ruins the air fryer.
Lemon – I also recommend some lemon which you can cook in the air fryer with the salmon. You can then squeeze it on the salmon when it is cooked. It also gives a fantastic flavour to your salmon.
Then for the kitchen gadgets that we have used in this air fryer frozen salmon fillet recipe it has just been our Philips Air Fryer XL. We have this one and its wonderful for many types of air fryer recipes.
