Frozen Burgers In Air Fryer?
Today we’re going to be sharing with you how to cook your favourite frozen burgers in the air fryer.
When I was testing these air fryer frozen burgers, I was thinking of my old next-door neighbour Helen. Her kids loved burgers when they came home from school, and she would cook them in the grill section of her oven.
They had them nearly every day, as she was not very good at cooking and that is what the kids asked for and they were cheap.
One day, her electric was not working so she cooked her burgers in my oven instead. I remember looking at them and thinking that I had never thought of buying frozen burgers before and that they smelt really nice.
She would serve them up with frozen fries from the deep fat fryer.
I have not seen her since she moved to a new house back in 2007 so I wonder if that is still dinner? Or does she have an air fryer now too?
Whilst I always prefer the hubby’s homemade air fryer hamburgers, I do love how fast and easy it is to cook air fryer frozen hamburgers and even better, how you can also use the air fryer to make air fryer frozen French fries.
We have now tried several different frozen burgers in the air fryer and wanted to share with you, the easiest way to cook them, how to add the melted cheese and best of all a few other frozen burgers that work well in the air fryer too.

For example, you can bulk buy fresh hamburgers or your own homemade burgers and freeze them and cook from frozen. For example, that is what we do when making burger in a bowl using the fresh skinny burgers from Aldi.
Though do keep an eye on the fat level as really fatty burgers can set off your smoke alarm when cooking.

Air Fryer Frozen Burger Tips & Tricks
- Go for frozen burger patties that are lower in fat and don’t go for the cheapest ones, as these tend to be high fat. Also watch out for vegan ones which can be very high fat such as the beyond beef burgers.
- Ideal size is quarter pounders and depending on your size of air fryer you should be able to air fry up to 4 frozen patties at once.
- When the air fryer frozen hamburger is almost cooked at a little sliced cheese on top and finish the cooking process with it melting as it cooks. Avoid grated cheese as it will suck up in the air.
- If just cooking for 1 or 2 and cooking less frozen burgers, you will have enough room in the air fryer to cook your sides at the same time.
