Welcome to my ultimate spicy KFC chicken wrap recipe.
I love chicken wraps. I mean I REALLY love chicken wraps. They are full of flavour and I love nothing more than enjoying some chicken wraps for dinner. I also really like the KFC chicken wrap that you often get at Kentucky Fried Chicken.
There is just one problem…..There is far too many calories in KFC food. When you compare it to the other fast food chains they always seem to have the most calories and everything always feels like it is to excess.
For example you will go to McDonalds have a Big Mac meal deal with the fries and a drink and maybe a side of chicken nuggets. Where as you go to KFC and EVERYTHING is deep fried in that lovely Southern way.
Plus the portion sizes are huge. Instead of the little double cheese burger you’re having elsewhere you are suddenly eating 6 pieces of chicken with fries, lots of sides and other burgers too.
Plus whenever I go to our local shopping centre we have a Burger King, Pizza Hut, McDonalds & KFC. The ones that are eating in the seating that are the biggest in weight are always the ones outside KFC.
And the thinnest – well they are the Portuguese that are outside the homemade place that does the chicken wraps that are not deep fried and that are served with salad or vegetables. Well that says it all doesn’t it?
So with the Portuguese locals as my inspiration here is my copycat version of the KFC chicken wraps.
