Soup Maker Cauliflower Soup
My husband Dominic is not keen on soup. I wouldn’t say he hates soup, but I wouldn’t say he was a fan of it either. Slowly over the years I have tried to wean him into more and more soup suppers.
But what he hates is that if the soup tastes like a diet soup or if it doesn’t have anything to dunk into it.
So, our compromise has been to batch cook some of our bread machine dinner rolls and then we freeze them in packs of 5. Then when we make some cauliflower soup in the soup maker, out comes a frozen pack of bread rolls too.
Plus, by pre-cooking them it stops you overeating on bread.
Think of all those times you have got some bread for your soup and ended up having 2-3 rolls just because it is there and in front of you. One bread roll (we’re a family of 5) is perfect with a comforting bowl of soup and its so filling too.
Like I mentioned soup is not on Dominic’s wish list as far as comforting suppers are concerned. But when I made him cauliflower soup in the soup maker, he was there and waiting for seconds.
He absolutely loved my soup maker cauliflower soup!
I put it down to the fact that he absolutely adores cauliflower and how you add cauliflower to anything and its super delicious and addictive.

Basic Cauliflower Soup In My Soup Maker
Can we start with the basic version of a cauliflower soup in the soup maker?
What you do is load into the soup maker:
- Frozen cauliflower
- Vegetable stock
- Seasoning
And then while the soup maker makes your soup consider what side dishes you would like with it.
Even though warm freshly cooked bread will always be the best, you can go with cauliflower cheese soup, a cauliflower curry soup, or just keep it plain.
If I am cooking plain and just going with a cream of cauliflower soup, I will use two whole bags of frozen cauliflower.
One bag of frozen cauliflower will go into the soup maker to make the soup. If it doesn’t all fit, I wait until its blended down a little and then add in the rest of the frozen cauliflower.
But the second bag of frozen cauliflower is the BEST. Because I will cook frozen cauliflower in the instant pot, then I will air fry it so that it becomes air fryer frozen roasted cauliflower. It is then amazing and is perfect for serving over the soup.
The effort here for the creamy soup maker cauliflower soup is minimal. You are loading up a soup maker, you are loading up the instant pot, transferring to the air fryer and there is barely any prep work.
It will take you less than 5 minutes for all the prep in this recipe and it’s the best creamy cauliflower soup you will ever try.
Soup Maker Cauliflower Cheese Soup
Or if you are not looking for a super healthy or a super low calorie cauliflower soup, then load it up with cheese.
Who doesn’t love some grated cheese sprinkled over the top of their cauliflower soup? I know I am there with bells on.
You can also make the cauliflower cheese soup in the soup maker even better, by adding some soft cheese such as Philadelphia to the soup and stir it before serving.
Spicy Soup Maker Cauliflower Soup
You can also go spicy with your soup maker cauliflower soup. Add the flavours of a curry to it and then serve it with our air fryer chickpeas. The air fryer chickpeas are cooked without ANY oil, making them low in calories and ideal if you follow SW or WW.

- 750 g Frozen Cauliflower
- 1 Medium White Onion
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 300 ml Vegetable Stock
- 100 ml Skimmed Milk
- 1 Tsp Thyme
- 1 Tsp Parsley
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions
- Peel and dice your onion and garlic clove. Load into the soup maker with seasonings and frozen cauliflower.
- Place the lid on the soup maker and select smooth soup and cook for 28-30 minutes. When it beeps remove the lid, stir in milk, any extra seasonings and enjoy!

I love a good vegetable soup and cauifower is one of my favourites, i do add quite abit of cheese though so it is not as healthy as the yours.
