Reheat Pancakes
Welcome to our final part in a 3 part series, showing you how to cook pancakes in the air fryer. We started off with air fryer pancakes made with a box mix, then yesterday it was air fryer frozen pancakes and today is all about how to reheat pancakes in the air fryer.
I love it when you are at the bakery area of your local supermarket. So many great smells going on and it’s like carb heaven.
My go to area though is the prepacked baked goods that are perfect for taking home and air frying and has a longer shelf life than your usual bread and bread rolls.
I will buy WW wraps to make into air fryer tortilla chips, part cooked bread to cook in the air fryer or even bagels to make into air fryer bagel pizzas.
Another not to be overlooked is the prepacked pancakes. You can buy a pack of these pancakes, take them home with you, and save them for a nice breakfast or brunch to have with the kids.
Even better, you can just dump the pack in the freezer and then cook them from frozen if you prefer.
Today, I wanted to share with you how to reheat your favourite pancakes. Perfect for shop bought ones, but also works well with homemade ones you made ahead.

Can You Reheat Pancakes?
Yes, you can reheat your pancakes. Its another amazing food that tastes even better reheated, than it did when it was originally cooked. Putting it up there with reheated stuffing and reheated air fryer fries.
Can You Reheat Pancakes In The Air Fryer?
Yes, you can reheat pancakes in the air fryer, and you will LOVE them. They are fluffy in the centre, crispy on the outside and you can easily reheat 6 pancakes at the same time.
You can then add your usual pancake sauces and you have the perfect breakfast.
Can You Make Pancakes & Reheat Later?
Yes, you can, and I recommend making your pancakes ahead and reheating them later. It can be such a hassle and a stress when it comes to breakfast and having pancakes already cooked, that just need reheating can be a life changer.
Or you can also do what Chef Dom does. He makes a lot of air fryer zucchini fritters for the kids, which is a savoury pancake if you have not had them before. He then makes a large batter in the bowl and then its all ready and just needs cooking.
Best Way To Reheat Pancakes?
The best way to reheat pancakes is with the air fryer. You can have fluffy pancakes in JUST 4 minutes.
You can also do them in the microwave in less than half of that time, but they wont be fluffy and crispy and reheated pancakes in microwave are likely to be a bit soggy.
How Do You Reheat Pancakes Without Drying Them Out?
This is all about the temperature you reheat your pancakes at in the air fryer. Go with 200c/400f and it will dry out your pancakes.
What is best, is to reheat pancakes in air fryer at 180c/360f and to use some extra virgin olive oil spray.
How To Store Leftover Pancakes?
The best way to store leftover pancakes is in a zip loc bag once they are cold. It then doesn’t take a lot of room in your kitchen and you can then store them in the fridge or in the freezer, if you don’t plan to eat them in the next few days.
