Air Fryer Fish Fingers
I recently shared our air fryer frozen fish sticks recipe on our Facebook page. The first reaction I got is you are British, and they are fish fingers not fish sticks.
I am lucky to have readers from around the world. From US, Canada, Australia, UK, South Africa, Ireland, New Zealand, and many other great places.
And of course, around the world we call things totally different things. There is also metric and imperial going on and I find that I can easily go from one to the other without even thinking about it.
But that comment about them been fish fingers not fish sticks got me thinking and made me want to do a specific fish fingers air fryer recipe for my fellow Brits.
But I didn’t just want to load frozen fish fingers into the air fryer basket, instead I wanted to do it like the typical school dinner when you are just home from school and make fish fingers and chips.
Today’s recipe is just that – fish fingers, chips, and beans totally 90’s style just swapping the 90’s deep fat fryer for the air fryer.
Though wherever you are in the world, I am sure you will enjoy this too and maybe you might call this fish sticks and fries?

Fish Fingers Air Fryer Ingredients
Fingers – We just used ¾ of a box of Birds Eye fish fingers. We could have done more, but wanted to pair them with chips and if we did them all, then we wouldn’t have fitted in the chips.
Chips – We paired our frozen fish fingers with a portion of McCain frozen Gatro Chips (our favourite).
Spray – I also recommend some extra virgin olive oil spray to help crisp up your chips and to give them the wow factor. You don’t need much and its probably the equivalent of a teaspoon.
Optional – You can also air fry some baked beans too in a cute little ramekin and then you have air fryer fish fingers, chips and beans. Though this part is totally optional.
Then for the kitchen gadgets that we have used in these frozen fish fingers in air fryer it has just been our Philips air fryer. We have this one and its wonderful for many types of air fryer recipes.
Plus, we recommend you head over to our air fryer recipes category as we have more than 500 tried and tested air fryer recipes and have been air frying for 10 years.
