    Tender pork belly, wondered what it would be like in a slow cooker and thought there would be a lot of grease, but there really was not alot. These tasted really good and went in next to no time, so a definite keeper for us.

    Hey there – I followed your recipe until the end – I did not put the new sauce back in the pan with the pork belly. I airfried the pork belly for 5 minutes and then spread the sauce in top … bloody beautiful I must say … slightly crispy and so tender and soft. Also – I didn’t use a slow cooker I used a heavy based casserole pot on an induction cook top on hot pot mode – and it cooked perfectly.
    Thank you – your recipe is so adaptable. (Also put a bit of maple syrup and chipotle hot sauce in the topping sauce ) thank you for your inspiration and sharing your process. Cheers from Australia XXX
