Air Fryer Blueberry Muffins. Let me show you how easy it is to make delicious banana oatmeal blueberry muffins using the Ninja blender and the air fryer.
You will love the simplicity of this blueberry muffins recipe. Everything is dumped into the blender for a quick muffin batter, then the batter is poured into air fryer silicone cups to make the best blueberry muffins you have ever tried.

Air Fryer Muffins
My most used air fryer accessory is my silicone muffin cups (we have these ones). I use them almost everyday for air fryer egg cups, air fryer chocolate muffins, a fridge clear out style muffin as well as for blueberry muffins when the blueberries are in season.
I just love it for how easy it is for a quick snack for me or for the kids.
Though I was late to the muffins party and didnโt make my own until about 2015 when I first discovered paleo and was looking for ways to cut down on the white flour in baking.
I started by using less flour and replacing some of the flour with oats and more bananas, to then cutting out the flour completely and making a delicious batter from gluten free quality oats (these are the ones we use), banana and eggs.
Todayโs blueberry muffin recipe is showing you how to make a banana oatmeal batter and then adding in blueberries and other delicious extras to make the most delicious muffins in the air fryer that you have ever tried.
You will also love that you can swap the blueberries for another favourite fruit.

Plus, as well as our free newsletter, we also have a free air fryer mini course. It is ideal for air fryer beginners or those that want to get more confident with their air fryer. The free course runs for 5 days with a new lesson delivered each day to your inbox.
Can I Use Silicone Cups In Air Fryer?
Yes you can. Silicone muffin cups in air fryer, is one of the best things to do in the air fryer. Unlike when I use ramekins, silicone muffins clean very easily and you donโt have food stuck to them or need to soak them after use.
For their size they make perfect air fryer mini muffins, or as many call them, air fryer muffin cups.
You simply pour your ingredients into the silicone cups and air fry.
We have a video on our You Tube channel for air fryer egg cups and I recommend you watch it. Because you can see them in action a lot better on there.
Can You Make Muffins In Air Fryer?
Yes you can. Air fryer muffins come out perfect every single time I have made them. You just need to make sure you donโt over fill them and then they will be amazing.
Plus, the air fryer helps to prevent overcooking them and air fryer muffins are always light and never dry.
Are These Muffins Kid Friendly?
Yes they are. My kids adore them and are always asking when I am making some more. I first introduced Sofia to muffins when we were on holiday in Spain in the summer of 2016. She was 19 months at the time and it was an easy food for her to eat herself on the breakfast buffet. But of course there were crumbs everywhere!
Ninja Muffins
To make our air fryer blueberry muffins we use our Ninja soup maker. It is also called a hot and cold blender and is fantastic, because it cooks food as well as blending.
When I use it (this is the one we recommend) you can dump the ingredients in, give it a high speed pulse and you have a creamy batter that is perfect for muffins.
Then you can add in any extras and then pour into your muffin cups.
Air Fryer Banana Muffins
When we make these blueberry muffins, if we didnโt add the blueberries, they would simply be air fryer banana muffins.
They are your plain healthy muffin.
You can then transform your banana muffins and add any of your favourite fruits to them.
For example, that could be cherries, strawberries, raspberries or even blackberries.
Or if you are not in the mood for fruit you can swap this for chocolate instead!
Air Fryer Blueberry Muffins Ingredients

Oats โ I recommend these gluten free oats and using traditional rolled oats. They blend very well and give you the thickness you need for the muffins.
Bananas โ This is the secret ingredient for making muffins that are flourless. Together with the oats they give you a wonderful thick batter.
Eggs โ We used two large eggs, and this was enough for getting the right consistency.
Yoghurt โ I recommend Greek yoghurt or something similar in your muffins as it helps make them light and fluffy.
Flavour โ Then for flavour I recommend some vanilla essence and honey. Though you can swap honey for maple syrup or stevia.
Fruit โ I am making blueberry muffins today and loading mine with fresh blueberries. But you can swap this for another member of the berry family.
Then I also add in some baking powder, but this is optional. I have done these muffins in the air fryer, both with and without baking powder and like both types.
For the kitchen gadgets that we have used in this air fryer recipe, it has just been our Philips Air Fryer. We have this one and our favourite muffin cups (these ones).

What To Serve With Air Fryer Blueberry Muffins?
Jorge like a typical 4 year old is happy with ice cream in one hand and then muffin in another. He loves our banana nice cream the best which is also prepped in the blender. You can also have these muffins as buffet food or for a summer picnic. They go well with our air fryer quiche.
