    1. Hi Vicki,

If you have not got a rotisserie i would cook it for 1 hr 30 minutes in any other air fryer oven but if using the standard air fryer with a basket i would cook it for 1 hr 30 minutes again turning every 30 minutes. We cook a full chicken in a standard air fryer and it takes roughly 45 minutes depending on size of the chicken so that is where i am getting my cooking time from. If you give it a try let us know how it works out 🙂

  1. What temp would you put gammon on in a air fryer please and how long for I am in the U.K. and I have just brought a air fryer from amazon

    1. Hi Tracy,

If you have a basket air fryer then if the joint is 1.2kg it will take slightly longer to cook than the one in our recipe, as we used a rotisserie air fryer oven to cook it. I would put the joint on for 45 minutes and turning half way through on 180c, then check if it iscooked, if not a further 10 minutes on the same temp 🙂

  2. Hi

    I’m in the uk. I have a 900g gammon joint (Sainsbury’s BGTY)
How long would you cook that for please, I’m not planning on putting any glaze on it so does it just go in as it is. Cooking with a basket type air fryer

    Thank you

    1. Hi Jo

      Sorry for the late reply.

Yes you could put it in with the skin on but it will take longer to cook as the skin will get used as a reflector for some of the heat with most of the heat from a basket air fryer coming from above. We cooked ours for 50 minutes and that was with a air fryer oven and that had a rotisserie function so for a basket one i would cook on 180c for 50 minutes turning it half way through, then check with a thermometer and if it is above 70c then it is cooked 🙂

  3. 5 stars
Cooed Hamlin for 50 mins and it is tough the thermometer is hard to push in
Not sure if over cooked or not long enough it dies not lol cooked
    What can I do
    It has cooled down
My airfry is only 1400 wat died this make a difference

    1. Hi Carol,

The wattage might have made a difference but if your air fryer got to the required temperature that it says in the recipe and the size of the ham is the same then it should be cooked, just try your best to get the temp probe right into the middle and try and find a fatty bit as going through the meat can be quite hard. To see if it is cooked slice it and if it has gone a darker colour than the outside then it will be cooked, also if not just put a few slices back into the air fryer for a fdew minutes and then that will make sure it is cooked right through 🙂
