Welcome to my Airfryer Pizza Hut Bread Sticks.
If there is something that I miss from the menu in the Portuguese Pizza Hut that you used to get in England it has to be the Pizza Hut Bread Sticks.
They were always delicious and made a great alternative to traditional garlic bread. They would usually be served with a nice garlic sauce or and make a fantastic starter for when youโre waiting for your main pizza to arrive.
So when I have been experimenting with the Airfryer and seeing new ways that I can make pizza, these were the first thing I thought about.
Even better, what if you could add some desiccated coconut to the recipe to give them a lovely crispy texture and then they would like KFC chicken strips meets Pizza Hut garlic bread. Also by using coconut oil in the recipe it gives it a much more natural taste and is something different that you can impress your family and friends with.
Oh and they so do. It is one of the most delicious combinations of flavours and I am so pleased that I have given them ago and a few experiments have had the chance to fine tune the recipe.
This is also perfect for when you have some leftover pizza dough that you need to use up and garlic bread sticks require very little ingredients beyond the garlic butter.
Is It OK To Put Bread In An Air Fryer?
Yes, it is perfectly OK to put bread in the air fryer and we just love air fryer bread. Just check out our air fryer pull apart bread rolls and how good they look, that is just one of many ways that you can cook bread the air fryer way.
Can You Cook Bread Sticks In An Air Fryer?
Yes, you can cook breadsticks in the air fryer and its so easy and perfect for that homemade bread moment. You can do really thin and smallish sticks to speed up the cooking time, or make them more traditional in size and shape.
Air Fryer Breadsticks No Yeast
You can use our air fryer bread rolls recipe that is also in The Complete Air Fryer Cookbook or make it with our air fryer flatbread recipe from our 2nd cookbook Air Fryer Easy Everyday. The flatbread dough is just yoghurt and flour, meaning there is no yeast.
Can You Recommend An Air Fryer?
I often get asked which air fryers I recommend and which one I use. In 95% of our air fryer recipes, we use either the Philips Air Fryer XL or the Cosori XL because they are the best ones, we have found out of many air fryers we have tried over the years. You can click on the links above and read up on them. But if you would rather have a dual air fryer we recommend this Ninja Dual (make sure you order the right one as not all are good) or the Philips Dual.
Air Fryer Breadsticks Ninja Foodi
I love my Ninja Foodi, but its smaller than my other air fryers. If using the Ninja Foodi or another multi-cooker we recommend either doing them a bit smaller in length so that they fit, or placing them in the air fryer basket on an angle.
Air Fryer Breadsticks From Pizza Dough
You can also make breadsticks from pizza dough and this is my favourite method. We will make our bread maker pizza dough and then instead of rolling out for homemade pizza, we will instead make breadsticks with it.
