Air Fryer Pork Loin
I am a big fan of pork cooked in the air fryer. It comes out moist, you can create an amazing pork crackling if that is your thing and it is perfect for mixing and matching for family dinners.
If you have not tried our other air fryer pork recipes, then I recommend you start with our air fryer oven pork tenderloin, then our air fryer pork roast, or Dominic’s favourite air fryer breaded pork chops.
Our air fryer pork roast used pork shoulder as it’s a cut of meat we can get hold of easily.
I always have a stash of pork shoulder in the freezer for pulled pork, but pork loin is rare and probably why it has taken me until now to cook air fryer pork loin for you.
I ordered it specially from the butchers (only generally available at Christmas) and it feels so good to finally be showing you just how easy a classic pork loin is to cook in the air fryer.
You can then make pork loin slices for sandwiches or go down the route of a classic roast pork dinner thanks to the air fryer.
Can You Air Fry Pork Loin?
Absolutely. Pork loin is delicious in the air fryer and a lot less dry compared to when you cook pork loin in the oven.
Plus, the air fryer does an AMAZING job and making you the best pork crackling too.
Air Fryer Pork Loin Vs Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin
One of my readers found an air fryer pork loin recipe in Google on another website and it instructed her to cook it for JUST 18 minutes.
She had bought it specially for a Wedding Anniversary and it was very much raw. I said to her that 18 minutes seemed incredibly low and that I would expect triple that, and she sent me the recipe link.
I read the recipe and I was amazed. It went from talking about tenderloin back to loin and back again.
I believe the writer didn’t know that loin and tenderloin are too totally different cuts of pork. Or that loin is much bigger and requires a much longer cook time.
I explained this to my reader and that I would buy some pork loin and show her how to cook it in the air fryer. Well today is air fryer pork loin time!
Also, if you have pork tenderloin and not pork loin, I recommend you follow this recipe instead.

- Pork Loin – We used a 3.3lb pork loin roast. Though if it will fit in the air fryer, you can go bigger or smaller.
- Seasoning – We used pork seasoning, salt, pepper, and bouquet garni for our pork loin. You can mix and match with your own favourite seasonings or use the same as us.
Any air fryer will do a good job at air fryer pork loin, though we are using our Philips Air Fryer XL.
Whole Pork Loin In Air Fryer
We all have different sized air fryers and you are probably thinking that a pork loin is not going to fit in your air fryer.
What we did with our Philips Air Fryer XL is hold our pork loin over the air fryer, see how far off it was from fitting and trimmed a few slices off.
Then those extra slices became air fryer pork loin chops and we ate them the following day.
Also, if you are on a diet, you can remove the crackling and reduce the fat of the pork.
