Pressure Cooker Baby Carrots
Pressure Cooker Carrots is always something that I always say I should eat more of, but I never do. Its not that I donโt like them, because I do. Its just that there is always another way that I prefer to eat my carrots.
I love to use my carrots to make carrot pasta, I love air frying carrots with other air fryer vegetables and I often throw them in a tasty chicken and vegetable traybake.
But just steamed on their own and then seasoned to have on my dinner plate, is something that always passes me by and I forget about. I remember some time ago making slow cooker honey glazed carrots and saying how much we loved them.
Yet they were published on the blog a long time ago and I havenโt made them since.
Well I decided to give my honey glazed carrots a pressure cooker makeover and using baby carrots we have finally got around to it.
By how quick the kids ate them I must say that they are a family winner, as they donโt even eat crispy chicken that fast. Or maybe that is because, born to food bloggers, they must wait until food is photographed before we let them eat it!
Pressure Cooker Baby Carrots

In our pressure cooker baby carrots recipe, we will be steaming the carrots first in our steamer basket.
That way they are not getting boiled in the water below and will retain the amazing flavour that carrots have.
After this point I will toss them in my marinade, and they will go from plain pressure cooker baby carrots into honey glazed and delicious pressure cooker baby carrots.
This Pressure Cooker Baby Carrots Recipe Is FANTASTIC Because:
- You have no peeling or dicing as your carrots are already prepped at the shop
- The marinade took me less than 2 minutes to mix in a bowl
- It pressure cooks for 0 minutes keeping it a fast recipe
- It makes a perfect healthy work snack and tastes just as good cold as hot

Pressure Cooker Baby Carrots In 0 Minutes

One of the addictions to cooking pressure cooker baby carrots is that they require 0 minutes cooking time.
When you first get an electrical pressure cooker, youโll be wondering what on earth this means. In beginners dialogue it means you set the timer on your pressure cooker to 0 minutes.
Then as soon as the Instant Pot has arrived at pressure it stops. I use this time wisely and make my marinade for my baby carrots while the Instant Pot is going to pressure.
Then when the baby carrots beep, I manually release pressure and mix them into the marinade.

Cooke for how many minutes? Your recipe says 0 minutes.
HI TM,
This instant pot recipe is 0 minutes. This means that you click pressure cook or manual (depending on how old your instant pot is) and then adjust the time to 0. This means that the cooking time is the time it takes your instant pot to go to pressure and then you release pressure.
Kind regards
Sam
