Welcome to my Slimming World cheesy chicken dippers recipe. Just three simple ingredients and incredibly low Syn it makes a great alternative to the processed freezer alternative that we all grew up with.
Serve it with homemade chips for the perfect chicken and chips Slimming World moment.
I am a huge fan of chicken dippers and it was the very first thing I ever cooked in my Philips Airfryer.
Though it wasn’t exactly healthy and involved a frozen bag of chicken dippers and they were thrown in frozen and then came out like crispy strips of chicken heaven.
But we loved them and we had a few rounds of them.
And another thing those packs of chicken dippers can be rather pricy, especially if you are serving 4 of you.
Oh and the Syns, it is seriously not good if you are on Slimming World!
But what if you could make your own?
And what if they could be just 3 ingredients?
You could then eat them for dinner, do a round of my Slimming World Chips to go with them and then hey presto you have a great dinner.
Plus your kids will think that you are amazing for introducing them to the Slimming World Diet Plan.
The 3 ingredients in this recipe are really simple ones. We have chicken breast, a packet of quavers and some egg to bind it altogether with.
That is it. And thanks to the crispy crisps and the strong cheese flavour they give you a delicious crust. And once you have these once….you will want them over and over again.
Even better it doesn’t require a full packet of Quavers crisps so you can eat the rest of the packet while your chicken is cooking!

How Many Syns In Quavers?
There are 5.5 Syns in a packet of Quavers. This is probably why I always had quavers when I was on Slimming World because they were so low Syn. I remember in my teens on Slimming World that I would have a wholemeal tuna sandwich along with a packet of quavers for lunch.
Now those were the days!
But in this Slimming World Recipe because you only need ½ a packet it means that it works out at just 2.25 Syns for everyone! So have the best ever crunchy chicken breast in the Airfryer for just over 1 Syn per person.
Talk about a low Syn treat.

Slimming World Cheesy Chicken Dippers In The Air fryer
- Chop the chicken into strips.
- In a small bowl beat your egg.
- In a third bowl add ½ the packet of quavers and crunch them up with your hands.
- Roll the chicken in the egg and then in the crushed quavers.
- Place the baking mat in the bottom of the Airfryer and place the chicken on top.
- Cook for 15 minutes at 180c. Turn with a pair of tongs and then cook for a further 5 minutes on the other side.
