Welcome to my Paleo Creamy Chicken & Cauliflower Sauce in the slow cooker recipe.
When you are following the Paleo way of life, or you are trying to get your kids to eat healthier it can be really hard. If you have gone from giving your kids chicken nuggets with peas and all of a sudden you want to give them chicken breast and boiled vegetables it is just not going to happen.
They will hate you for it!
I have not cooked boiled vegetables for many years. We stopped the moment we got a steamer (I think it was 2013) and we realised how much better vegetables could taste if they were steamed rather than losing all their goodness and flavour when boiled.
But even boiled vegetables can still look boring and so can chicken, especially if there is no sauce involved.
So what if we made a cauliflower sauce that provided you with the equivilent of ½ a plateful of cauliflower and was full of pure goodness, then we served it up with slow cooked chicken in that sauce?
Well your kids would go crazy and wouldn’t even realise that you had made them a delicious meal of chicken and cauliflower with hardly much else!
It is also a fantastic way to get your kids eating their meat and vegetables. They are all for the texture and to them they would never see any healthiness in the dish.

- 4 Chicken Breasts (cut into chunks)
- 200ml Cauliflower Sauce (get the recipe here)
- 1Tbsp Mixed Herbs
- 1Tbsp Tarragon
- 1Tsp Chicken Seasoning
- Salt & Pepper
- Place all the ingredients into the slow cooker on a low heat setting.
- Mix well and cook for 3 hours or until the chicken is well cooked.
- Serve with salad.
