  • When the slow cooker is nearly done print off the frozen sprouts and frozen parsnips recipes and cook them. When the slow cooker is done, remove the turkey crown and allow to rest. Whilst it is resting load the remaining contents of the slow cooker into a blender with a slice of your turkey and blend to make a creamy gravy sauce.

Notes

Ahead. You can also make your stuffing ahead of time and then leave in the fridge for later. Also, you can prep the turkey the night before and then put it on the next day when you are ready.
Low. You can also cook a turkey crown on low and cook it overnight. Simply put it on low when you go to bed and turn it off when you wake up 8 hours later. Though, because you can’t add the stuffing balls halfway through, you can instead cook them in the air fryer.
