Let’s make a baked potato in air fryer after microwave. Combine the great talents of the air fryer and the microwave, to make the best, and fastest baked potatoes.
Fork the potatoes and then place them directly into the microwave. Microwave the potatoes for 16 minutes on full power. Check that the potatoes are fork tender, then transfer to a plate and allow to cool enough for you to be able to touch them. The fridge for 10 minutes is good for this.
Then spray the potatoes with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper. Use your hands to oil and season the potato skins.
Transfer the potatoes to the air fryer basket, spreading them out. If you have a dual you may need to do 2 in each drawer.
Air fry the baking potatoes for 10 minutes at 180c/360f, when the air fryer beeps turn them over and then cook for a final 5 minutes at the same temperature. Load up with toppings and serve.
