Slice the tops off the garlic bulbs to expose the flesh of the garlic cloves.
On a layer of foil that is big enough to wrap the garlic in foil, spray the tops of the garlic with olive oil.
Then season well with salt and pepper and add a sprinkling or basil.
Transfer the foil packet to the air fryer basket and air fry for 15 minutes at 180c/360f.
Then open up the foil to help the garlic cook and air fry for another 10 minutes at the same temperature.
Allow the garlic to cool or be cool enough for you to hold, then tip the garlic upside down over a plate and gently squeeze the garlic out of its cloves.
