Instant Pot Detox Cabbage Soup. A delicious simple instant pot cabbage soup diet recipe that is ideal for cooking in bulk ahead of your 7 day cabbage soup diet plan. Loaded with cabbage and other low calorie vegetables it is vegan, vegetarian and gluten free.

  • Peel and dice all your vegetables and load into the instant pot.

  • Stir your vegetables and add in seasonings and then 500ml of water or stock. Stir again.

  • Place as much cabbage on top that will fit and then close your instant pot pressure cooker.

  • Set the valve to sealing and cook for 4 minutes on manual/pressure cook. Manually release pressure, stir, and then blend until smooth, or partially blend and then stir for a chunky creamy cabbage soup.
  • Pour into bowls and serve.

Notes

Liquid. I recommend using a combination of tinned tomatoes or stock with water. This will make sure the soup is creamy and flavoursome without being too thick or too watery.
Replace. If you don’t want mixed herbs as your seasonings you can go with a curry theme, Chinese, Mexican, or whatever you prefer.
