In a mixing bowl add all your ingredients apart from the bread cubes and mix well. Once mixed make it into a big dough ball.
Place it into the slow cooker on high and cook for an hour.
After an hour using a wooden spoon mix it well and add the cubed bread to the top and cook on low for a further 2 hours.
Notes
I used fresh thyme in this recipe but I find it works well with fresh rosemary or fresh parsley too. If you’re making this for Christmas or Thanksgiving then I suggest you also add 30g cranberry sauce for a lovely festive flavour.For the best chicken stock in your recipes I would recommend Kettle & Fire. Unfortunately they are not available in the UK so if you are UK based I would use OXO cubes.
