How to cook the most delicious air fryer pheasant. The air fryer is the perfect size to fit two pheasants in at the same time and toss in your favourite seasonings for a quick roasted game dinner.
Load into a little ramekin (or similar) your seasonings and mix well with a fork.
Rub extra virgin olive oil over all visible skin of your pheasants and you will need approximately 1 tablespoon per pheasant for this. Then rub in the seasonings and it will stick to the oil.
Load the pheasants (side by side) into the air fryer basket and air fry for 15 minutes at 160c/320f, turn over and do another 15 minutes breast side down at a reduced temperature of 150c/300f.
Allow the pheasants to rest, before slicing and of course serve them with your favourite air fryer sides.

Notes
Size. If you can, get the size of the pheasants as close to one another as you can. As you don’t want one ready much sooner than the other. Our whole pheasants that we air fried weighed 705g/1.55lbs and 590g/1.3lbs. I don’t think it was too bad that there was only 115g between them which is like a quarter of a pound.Check. I always put my whole pheasants in the air fryer in their packaging, just to double check they fit, before I start getting them ready to air fry. Thanks for reading our air fryer pheasant recipe on Recipe This.
