Air Fryer Quesadilla
Air Fryer Quesadilla. How to make the most delicious air fryer cheese quesadilla. Based on the Taco Bell Quesadilla, cut the calories in the air fryer without cutting the delicious flavour. Or mix and match with favourite fillings to make your favourite quesadilla.
Air Fryer Quesadilla Recipe Ingredients:
Cheese Quesadilla Filling:
Load filling ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well with a fork.
Load the filling over one of your tortilla wraps.
Add grated cheese over.
Spread salsa over another wrap with a knife and then press the salsa down over the grated cheese so that you have a sandwich.
Cover the top with egg wash and then load it up with cocktail sticks so that it can’t move.
Load into the air fryer and cook for 4 minutes at 180c/360f.
When it beeps, remove cocktail sticks, flip and add extra egg wash. Cook for a further 2 minutes at 200c/400f.
Slice and serve with extra salsa.
Rinse and repeat until you have used all your tortilla wraps and are out of filling.
Because of the cooking time for each air fryer quesadilla I recommend having a production line. When the first quesadilla is cooking make your filling for the second, then as the second cooks do this for the third and so on. It will keep the air fryer cooking and speed up the cooking process.
You can use any cheese. I like to have some frozen grated cheese in the freezer for making quesadillas, then you can grab it as you need it.
If you prefer, you can swap egg wash for extra virgin olive oil or another oil of choice
