Instant Pot Cabbage
Instant Pot Cabbage. How to cook delicious flavoursome cabbage in the instant pot pressure cooker. An easy to follow easy steamed cabbage recipe, with a secret ingredient to make your cabbage taste better.
Instant Pot Cabbage Ingredients:
- 1 Medium Cabbage
- 1 Tbsp Butter optional
- Salt & Pepper
Shred and clean your cabbage. Load into your steamer basket.
Place 2 cups of water (480ml) into your instant pot inner pot. Add in the trivet and the cabbage loaded steamer basket.
Season your cabbage with salt and pepper. Spread your butter out over the top of the cabbage.
Place the lid on the instant pot, set the valve to sealing and cook for 1 minute. Do a quick pressure release and stir your cabbage before serving.
Butter. To make buttered cabbage we simply add little blobs of butter over the cabbage. It will then cook with an even coating of butter.
Confession. You are probably thinking from the photo that there is not much instant pot cabbage left, well the hubby loved it so much, he kept eating it before I had chance to finish the pictures.
