Ingredients

Instructions

  • In the soup maker place the onion, tinned tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, garlic puree and salt and pepper with 150ml of water. Cook for 15 minutes or until your onions and tomatoes are tender.
  • Drain the ingredients and place them back in the soup maker with the seasoning, maple syrup and the vinegar. Blast for a couple of minutes and test it. If you need a little bit more sweetness increase the maple syrup or if it is too sweet for your taste add a little bit more tomato.
  • Place into a jar and fridge.
  • Serve once it is cold.

Notes

The wonderful thing about this tomato ketchup is that you get the lovely sweet flavour naturally from the maple syrup and it makes a fantastic healthy option to give your kids.
