  • Place a layer of kitchen towel onto a plate.

  • Remove your bacon from its packaging and place on the kitchen towel.

  • Then add another layer of kitchen towel over the frozen bacon.

  • Place the bacon in the microwave.

  • Click defrost and defrost meat and cook for 2 minutes.

  • When the microwave beeps, remove the top kitchen towel, turn the bacon over and then add the kitchen towel back. Cook on defrost for a further 3 minutes.

Notes

Size – Please note, we used back bacon which is much bigger than streaky and takes longer to defrost in the microwave. If doing streaky, at step #6 check if the bacon is done and remove from the microwave without the further 3 minutes.
