  • Peel and slice your beetroot into either wedges, fries, or cubes.

  • Load the beets into a mixing bowl and add seasoning and extra virgin olive oil. Toss with your hands to make sure the beets are well coated.

  • Place in the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes at 180c/360f.

  • When the air fryer beeps, check with a fork that they are almost tender, spray with extra virgin olive oil and cook for a further 5 minutes at 200c/400f.

Notes

Swaps. I love my beets with salt and pepper. You can add any seasoning you like to your beets. For example, if I was serving them with tarragon chicken I would add some tarragon to the seasoning.
Size. It’s a 25 minute cook time because its beet wedges and they take a while. If doing cubes take the main cook time down to 12 minutes and for fries down to 15 minutes. Then do the 5 minute crisp at the end.
