Instant Pot Lamb Bhuna. How to make a delicious lamb bhuna curry in the instant pot pressure cooker. Inspired by the lamb bhuna episode of Gavin & Stacey, this lamb bhuna is served with instant pot pilau rice and ideal for a Saturday night fakeaway at home.
Peel and dice an onion and sauté in the instant pot.
Add in your cubed lamb and brown with the onion. Season the lamb well with salt and pepper.
Add to the instant pot your various seasonings and mix well. Add in tinned tomatoes and lamb stock and mix well
Place the lid on the instant pot and cook for 30 minutes on meat/stew setting. When it beeps use quick pressure release.
Drain the juices from the instant pot and put the leftover lamb stock to one side. Add the lamb back into the instant pot and stir in Greek yoghurt.
Load onto plates with pilau rice and enjoy!

Swap. If you don’t have lamb stock swap it for an extra can of tinned tomatoes.Spicy. Note that this curry is spicy. Reduce the chilli powder if you prefer a mild curry.Stock. I could cook the lamb in less juices and half the tinned tomatoes and then wouldn’t need to drain. But the stock is fantastic for the next time you make a lamb curry and makes your lamb dishes taste amazing. If you don’t want to do this half the stock/tinned tomatoes in this recipe.Rice.
