  • Half the cherry tomatoes and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and basil.

  • Season tuna steaks with salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme and load into the air fryer basket. Place cherry tomatoes in the gaps.

  • Cook for 7 minutes at 190c/380f. After 7 minutes check to see if the tuna steak is cooked. If not cook for a further 2 minutes on the same temperature. Then follow this process if your tuna steaks are really thick.

  • Then serve the tuna steaks with the cherry tomatoes for a quick light lunch.

Seasoning. Its best to keep it simple with tuna steak as it’s all about the flavour of the tuna. Season with salt and pepper, then add a little oregano and thyme.
Time. The tuna steak cook time is approximately 7 minutes. But if you have a thicker tuna fillet then add an extra 2 minutes.
