White Chocolate Ice Cream Ingredients:

Instructions

  • Using an electric hand mixer or a whisk beat together the egg yolks and the sugar until they are fluffy.
  • Heat milk and single cream in a small pan and add the vanilla essence.
  • Add the egg mixture to the pan and stir on a high heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to the fridge and allow to cool for at least an hour.
  • Load the vanilla ice cream mix to your ice cream maker and set it to 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes add in your white chocolate that has been split in ½ grated and ½ chopped into small chunks.
  • Allow the ice cream maker to churn for 15 more minutes to nicely mix in the white chocolate.
  • Transfer to the freezer for an hour and then serve.

Notes

If you want your ice cream quicker, then I recommend 20 minutes in the freezer instead of 1 hour in the fridge.
We used just 100g of white chocolate. If you would like it loaded with more chocolate you can increase this amount.
Another great use of our white chocolate ice cream recipe is dinner parties. Load the ice cream into little ramekins, add delicious sauce and freeze for later when you need them.
