Air Fryer Onion Bhajis. How to cook onion bhajis without deep frying thanks to the air fryer or actifry. These low calorie healthy onion bhajis are delicious, crispy and flavoursome.
Peel your onions and sweet potato. Using your spiralizer chop up the onions and the sweet potato and place in a large mixing bowl.
Add your seasoning and mix well with your hands.
Use the egg to combine it and add a little flour a bit at a time making sure it doesn’t go too thick and is like a classic fritter batter.
Put a baking sheet in the bottom of your air fryer and place your onion bhajis on top. Cook for 15 minutes on 200c/400f or until they are cooked through.
Serve!
Notes
It is much easier to make these healthy onion bhajis with a spiralizer. If you don’t have one you could always do the thin slicing yourself.
