Slow Cooker Stuffing For Turkey Ingredients:

  • 450 g Sausage Meat
  • 75 g Butter
  • 1 Small White Onion
  • 2 Medium Bread Rolls
  • 2 Tbsp Chopped Leeks
  • 1 Tbsp Thyme
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Extra Breadcrumbs For Binding optional


  • Using a vegetable knife chop your bread rolls into small chunks.
  • Peel and thinly slice your onion.
  • Slice and clean your leeks.
  • Slice your butter into small chunks.
  • Load everything into the slow cooker and using your hands mix together and then create a large ball of stuffing mix in your slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  • Stir halfway through as it stops the stuffing sticking and helps keep it all mixed.


You can use any brand of sausage meat or sausages with the skin removed. It just depends which brand you prefer.
You can use frozen leeks as they don’t have to be fresh. You also don’t need a lot of leek otherwise your stuffing will be overpowered by it.
If your sausage meat is overly wet or sticky, then I recommend adding in a little breadcrumbs to help bind it all together.
