Delicious easy prep slow cooker turkey stuffing. This turkey stuffing is perfect for making ahead for your turkey, tastes amazing and only has a few simple ingredients.
Let’s slow cook stuffing. Start by chopping the leek into small chunks and giving it a wash.
Next chop the bread into chunks, reserving some of the non-crust bits for breadcrumbs. Then add the chunks into the slow cooker along with all other ingredients and then rub the remaining bread over the slow cooker to create a breadcrumb effect.
Flour your hands and then mix the slow cooker ingredients with your hands, until all ingredients are well mixed. Then form into a large ball. Press down in the bottom of the slow cooker to layer it into a big layer of stuffing.
Slow cook the stuffing for 3 hours on high or 6.5 hours on low, stirring halfway through to ensure it doesn’t stick to the bottom.
When ready serve.

Notes
Swaps. You can swap the thyme and bouquet garni for another similar seasoning or why not use dried sage?Plan B. If you don’t want to crumble your bread, then a good shortcut is to have some breadcrumbs in the freezer that you can just grab a handful of when making the stuffing. We do this and often use similar breadcrumbs when we are doing air fryer chicken schnitzel or other breaded recipes. Thanks for reading our turkey stuffing slow cooker recipe on Recipe This.
