The Best Air Fryer Oven Chicken Breast. The ultimate quick air fryer chicken breast cooked in a self saucing BBQ sauce in our air fryer oven with absolutely no breading. Easy to adapt for your favourite air fryer chicken marinade.
Place all your ingredients apart from your chicken into a bowl and mix well.
Season your chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Smother your chicken breasts in your marinade and place them into your air fryer oven.
Cook for 30 minutes at 180c/360f.
Serve over a salad.
We cooked our Air Fryer Chicken Breast in an air fryer oven, but this recipe can also be used for the regular air fryer, you will just need an air fryer grill pan to stop the marinade from making your air fryer dirty.
You can swap honey for maple syrup and the Bullseye Chipotle BBQ sauce we used for your own homemade BBQ spicy sauce.
We had large 242g each chicken breasts that were almost thawed. If using smaller chicken breasts do adjust your cooking time.
To achieve that sticky BBQ marinade, it is important that your sticky sweetness of honey is double that of your BBQ sauce.
We use the baking mat method for cooking our air fryer oven chicken breasts. You chop a baking mat to size and place it on the shelf in your air fryer oven. It keeps the clean up to a minimum.
