Slimming World Homemade Doner Kebab
Slimming World Homemade Doner Kebab. Let me show you how easy it is to make a homemade doner kebab in the slow cooker, that is not only delicious, but totally Syn Free on Slimming World too.
- 3 Tbsp Fat Free Greek Yoghurt
- ½ Small Lemon juice only
- ½ Garlic Clove minced´
- ½ Tsp Mint
Place into a bowl all the doner kebab ingredients and mix well until the minced lamb is evenly seasoned.
Wrap it in a very tight layer of silver foil and place it into your slow cooker.
Cook on high in the slow cooker for 3 hours, or on low for 5.5 hours.
Mix together the Greek sauce ingredients and place in the fridge for later.
When cooked remove it from the silver foil and use a sharp knife to very thinly slice it.
Serve it inside warm pitta breads with Greek sauce.
If on Slimming World you can use your healthy extra Bs towards the gluten free oat flour and the pitta breads.
I always add the pitta breads to the top of the slow cooker 30 minutes before serving and it warms them up and gives me a lovely doner kebab scent. If you want it with less heat then change it to a pinch of cayenne pepper and double the paprika.
