Air Fryer Rich Fruit Scones

Easy and quick air fryer rich fruit scones. Loaded with sultanas and so simple you will want to make these with the little people in your life.

  • Place the flour and butter into a mixing bowl and rub the fat into the flour.
  • Add the sultanas.
  • Add the caster sugar.
  • Crack the egg into the mixture and using a fork mix well until nearly combined.
  • Add milk a little at a time until it makes a smooth scone dough.
  • Make the dough into scone shapes.
  • Place in the air fryer inside the grill pan and cook at 180c/360f for 8 minutes.
  • Serve warm.


I found that the rich fruit scones dough made enough for 4 medium scones. We find the way to make the least amount of mess baking in the air fryer is to either use a baking mat that fits onto your air fryer basket or to get an air fryer grill pan.
