Air Fryer Tomatoes
Air Fryer Tomatoes. How to cook grilled tomatoes in your air fryer. A simple air fryer tomatoes recipe that is perfect for a quick side with lunch or dinner or for a traditional English breakfast. These air fryer tomatoes are also oil free and incredibly low in calories.
Air Fryer Tomatoes Ingredients:
- 4 Medium Tomatoes
- 2 Tsp Oregano
- Salt & Pepper
Clean your tomatoes and then slice them in half.
Place the sliced tomatoes in the air fryer making sure none are on top of each other.
Sprinkle salt, pepper, and oregano over your tomatoes. Air fry for 8 minutes at 180c/360f. Serve warm.
Quantities. I can fit 9 slices of tomatoes in my Philips Air Fryer XL which is the same as 4.5 tomatoes. I recommend if you have a lot of tomatoes to cook that you do it in batches.
Soup. If you have a favourite soup recipe that calls for roasted tomatoes, then you can use this recipe. And unlike a classic roasted tomato soup you can keep oil at zero.
