Oil Free Air Fryer French Fries
Learn the secrets behind Oil Free Air Fryer French Fries. This is a really easy recipe to follow and you will love how moist these air fryer French Fries are.
Scrub your potatoes. Remove any eyes and then dice them into French Fries.
Soak your uncooked French Fries in the fridge for 15 minutes so that it can remove the starch. Then place them in a sieve in the sink and then using your hands remove the excess starch from the potatoes. Drain well and return them to a dry mixing bowl.
Add all of your seasoning, mix well with your hands and then place them in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 15 minutes at 180c/360f.
Shake half way through to help them cook evenly and serve with mayonnaise/ketchup.
We used 2 large potatoes and when the skin was removed it worked out at 782 grams. I use my bowl nest when making my Air Fryer French Fries.
This is because it has a large bowl that is perfect for soaking my French Fries in, but it also has a great sieve that is also perfect for when you are draining all the excess starch from the potatoes, then I use another bowl in my set for mixing the seasoning into the potatoes.
My preference was for dried chives for seasoning the French Fries but you could use parsley, rosemary or even sage, depending on what your favourite seasoning is.
