Stuffed Field Mushrooms With Urbani White Truffle & Porcini Sauce
Welcome to my Stuffed Field Mushrooms With Urbani White Truffle & Porcini Sauce. As a food blogger we always find that no matter how hard we try that we have never tried everything.
Fry off until crispy the chopped bacon - then set aside.
Using half the butter and all the olive oil fry the field mushrooms, until browned and half cooked - set aside.
Gently sauté the breadcrumbs in a little butter until lightly golden - set aside.
Combine the elements – fill the bottom of the mushrooms with the cheese, mix porcini sauce with bacon and cover over the cheese, then pat onto the sauce the breadcrumbs and finally add a few little chunks of butter.
Place in a pre-heated oven at 180c for 15 to 20 minutes and serve as a splendid starter or light supper with baby leaves and cherry tomatoes with crusty bread on the side.
Notes
It is important when you cook mushrooms that you de-stalk them and give them a good clean via kitchen towels before cooking them.
