Instructions

  • Place your chicken on a clean chopping board. In a small mixing bowl add together all of the seasonings along with the olive oil.
  • Massage the seasoning mixture into the skin of the chicken making sure that every bit of skin is covered.
  • On the sauté setting add the Chicken to the Instant Pot making sure that it is skin side down. Cook for approximately 5 minutes until the skin has a lovely crispy texture and that the seasoning smells out your kitchen as this shows it is cooking well.
  • Remove the chicken from the Instant Pot, turn the Instant Pot off and give the bottom a quick wipe so that it wont burn during the chicken cooking process.
  • Place the contents of the beer into the beer can slot, then place it in the bottom of the Instant Pot, on top of this spread the legs of chicken and lower it over it.
  • Place the lid on the Instant Pot and using the manual setting cook on high pressure for 30 minutes.
  • Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure for 10 minutes and then serve.
