  • Place 2 cups (480ml) of water into your inner pot. Add your steamer basket and load up the steamer basket with your potatoes and carrots. Generously season with salt and pepper. Place the lid on the instant pot, set the valve to sealing and pressure cook carrots and potatoes for 10 minutes followed by a quick pressure release.

  • After a quick pressure release, check with a fork that the potatoes and carrots are fork tender, then remove the potatoes and carrots by the steamer basket and then load into a bowl.
