Get ready for Easter with our fun experiment of dying brown eggs for Easter. You will love our guide for how to make Easter eggs in the air fryer and its such a simple fun thing to do with the kids.
Place the eggs into the air fryer basket and air fry at 120c/250f for 16 minutes.
Place the eggs into a cold bowl of water to cool enough for you and the kids to handle. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes.
Add food colouring to separate bowls. We did blue, red, green and orange. Then add enough water to half fill the bowl. Then stir with a spoon.
Submerge the eggs into the different coloured pots and allow them to sit for 30 minutes to absorb the colour.
Place the dyed brown eggs into egg cartons and place in the fridge for at least an hour. The eggs are now done for the kids to play with.
Notes
Duck. You can also follow this recipe and use duck eggs instead.
