You will love our Thermomix cheese sauce. Loaded with lots of cheese, no mixing to do, just dump it in the Thermomix and its perfect for cauliflower cheese, pasta sauce and so much more.
Chop butter and place into the Thermomix. Cook at 100c/210f, speed 2 for 2 minutes.
Next add in the plain flour to the Thermomix and cook for another 2 minutes at speed 4 at the same temperature.
You will now have a roux and if you squeeze it in your hand it will come together like a little ball.
Next add in the milk and do another 2 minutes, at speed 4 on the same temperature. Scrape down the edges for any bits of milk, or flour that has got stuck.
Then add in chopped cheese and seasonings and do a final 2 minute cook at speed 4 at 100c/210f.
You will now have cheese sauce. Note if it is too thick, adjust with a little milk, or if not cheesy enough you can add in some extra cheese.
Notes
Butter. You can use unsalted or salted butter.
