Delicious and perfectly cooked air fryer acorn squash. If you have not had acorn squash in the air fryer yet, let me introduce you to both a savoury and sweet recipe that you will want to eat every time acorn is in season.
Cut the end off your acorn squash and then slice lengthways. Remove the seeds.
Spray the flesh with extra virgin olive oil.
Then for savoury season with salt, pepper, basil and oregano. Then air fry for 15 minutes at 180c/360f.
For sweet acorn squash season with nutmeg and half the cinnamon and air fry for 10 minutes at 180c/360f.
Then after the 10 minutes add honey to the centre of the acorn along with the remaining cinnamon. Air fry for a final 5 minutes at the same temperature.
Then sweet or savoury, do a fork test and once fork tender serve.

Notes
Honey. The honey gets very hot and fast. That is why we recommend you add it after 10 minutes of cooking and not straight away. Thanks for reading our acorn squash in air fryer recipe on Recipe This.
