Air Fryer Halloumi Burgers. How to make the best halloumi burgers in the air fryer. Served in ciabatta rolls with crispy Mediterranean vegetables and coleslaw this is perfect for a fast weeknight dinner.

  • Place the Mediterranean veggies into the air fryer basket and air fry for 7 minutes at 180c/360f.
    How To Make Halloumi Burgers?
  • Whilst the veggies are air frying, remove the halloumi from its packaging and get rid of any excess liquid and pat it dry. Spray the halloumi with extra virgin olive oil and then sprinkle with seasonings. Half the cherry tomatoes and season and spray.

  • When the air fryer beeps add in the halloumi patties and the cherry tomatoes. Air fry for a further 7 minutes at the same temperature.

  • When it beeps turn the halloumi over, add the spray and seasonings again and air fry for a final 5 minutes at the same temperature.

Notes

Quantities. I will slice the halloumi in half lengthways before serving. It will then feed four people instead of two. If you prefer you could cook 4 halloumi patties instead.
Swaps. Our halloumi burger recipe is based on what ingredients we had in and what we bought from Aldi. You could do the same or mix and match. Seasoning. I recommend a teaspoon of each of the 3 dried herbs for each side of the halloumi.
