Instructions

  • Rinse your quinoa under a cold tap.
  • Load your quinoa into the instant pot.
  • Pour in liquid and seasoning.
  • Stir and place the lid on the instant pot and set the valve to sealing.
  • Cook for 1 minute on manual/pressure cook then allow for 12 minutes natural pressure release before manually releasing pressure.
  • Remove the lid, fluff up with a fork and serve.

Notes

You can use any flavoured broth or stock when cooking your quinoa. I prefer this brand especially if you don’t have a supply of bone broth in your freezer.
Try to avoid any liquid that is over thick. This will make it difficult for the instant pot to cook to pressure. For example, focus on watery bone broth rather than cans of tinned tomatoes.
